Our Cooperative Ministry is committed to reimagining and improving the ways in which faithful women and men can work together locally to bring about more egalitarian administration and joyful experiences in Mormonism, within the framework of current LDS doctrine. We will do this through various publications; by inviting individuals to share their stories of taking action to bring about change in themselves, their families, wards, stakes, missions and communities; establishing a place for open and frank conversations on any topic that leads to the empowerment of all members; and by providing practical resources for how each of us can do this work in our own sphere of influence. We believe that when faithful women work together and in tandem with men to cooperatively minister to each other, we can truly be of one heart and one mind.
Our Editor-in-Chief, Neylan McBaine’s new book Women at Church: Magnifying LDS Women’s Local Impact embodies our purpose. It is a practical and faithful guide to improving the way men and women work together at church.
